Question: Who are you and what makes you think anyone will read your blog?

Answer: So my name is Heidi Doxey. I work as an editor for a publishing company called Cedar Fort and when I'm not doing that I write books, cook yummy things, watch movies, try to fix up my house, and occasionally attempt the New York Times crossword puzzle.

I'm writing this blog to tie in with the books I've written. So far that's one book of stories for primary kids (and their parents) to help with talk preparation, family home evening lessons, or to reinforce the lessons they'll learn at church next year. It's called Tiny Talks vol. 11 and it's available at Deseret Book, Seagull, on Amazon or at CedarFort.com.

I also wrote a journal that's geared primarily toward teenagers. It includes over 100 questions to get teens thinking and writing about their beliefs. Right now you can find the journal by visiting CedarFort.com and searching for "journal." Mine is called What Do You Believe? The journal should also be available in bookstores within a week or two.

Since I wrote all the questions for the journal, I feel like it's only fair for me to answer them myself, which is what I'll be doing here. I'll also be answering lots of other questions about my life, my writing, and why I think pancakes are evil.

If you have questions you want me to answer, feel free to leave a comment. Or if you'd like to answer one of my questions yourself, I'd love to hear what you have to say. I don't actually think I have all the right answers. (If I did, my porch light wouldn't currently be hanging to my house by wires and duct tape.) But I think that I've got an answer for nearly every question, and it'll be up to you to decide how much merit those answers actually deserve.
